Carlos Condit is ready to hand Rory MacDonald a rematch, his manager has revealed.

Condit beat MacDonald in stunning fashion in June 2010, stopping his opponent with seven seconds left in the fight. Condit went on to win on three more occasions before suffering a loss to Georges St-Pierre.

MacDonald, meanwhile, has won four on the spin since his loss to Condit, the most recent of which was a dominant victory over BJ Penn. After his win at UFC on Fox 5 at the weekend, MacDonald called out Condit.

"I was humiliated and embarrassed after that fight, and I think about that fight all the time, it haunts me, and I really need to get past that chapter in my life," he told Fuel TV. "My challenge is out there, it's up to Carlos to accept my challenge."

The gauntlet has been thrown down and seemingly Condit is happy to pick it up. His manager Malki Kawa, in an interview with MMAWeekly, said: "Carlos Condit doesn't back down from any man. If the UFC asks us to fight Rory MacDonald, Carlos will take the fight."
