Todd Duffee is heading back to the UFC, and he will be greeted by England's own Phil De Fries.

Duffee has not fought in the UFC since he was shocked by Mike Russow in May 2010. He left on poor terms with Dana White questioning the heavyweight's attitude.

However, he now returns to the UFC 155 card to fill the void left next to the name of De Fries. The Brit had been left without an opponent after Matt Mitrione was cherry-picked to fight Roy Nelson.

The news was reported by the Las Vegas Sun, and was later retweeted by the official UFC Twitter account.

De Fries has only been beaten once, and is looking to build on a submission win over Oli Thompson.

UFC 155 takes place on December 29 in Las Vegas, and is headlined by Junior Dos Santos v Cain Velasquez.
