Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will form part of the co-main event at UFC 153, fighting Dave Herman at heavyweight.

The Rio card has undergone a series of changes over the past few days, with Jose Aldo's title defence against Frankie Edgar replaced by a light-heavyweight encounter between Anderson Silva and Stephan Bonnar.

A further adjustment saw the injured Rampage Jackson forced out of his bout with Glover Teixeira. Fabio Maldonado will now face Teixeira.

And now the card has an all-new co-main event, with Nogueira making his return after a 10-month absence following his arm-breaking loss to Frank Mir.

Herman goes into the bout having lost his last two, and will be a major underdog against the Brazilian. Nogueira's last Brazil outing saw him beat Brendan Schaub via knockout.
