Former lightweight contender Gray Maynard will face Joe Lauzon at UFC 155, it was announced on Monday.

Lauzon, who has three wins in his last four fights, is fresh off an impressive win over Jamie Varner at UFC on Fox 4.

Maynard, meanwhile, claimed a split decision win over Clay Guida in June after back-to-back title showdowns against Frankie Edgar.

The pair have been added to the UFC 155 card, which takes place on December 29th in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Matyushenko has stepped in to face Matt Hammill at UFC 152 after Roger Hollett pulled out with an injury.

Hammill, who makes his first appearance in over a year after initially retiring following defeat to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 133, will make his comeback on September 22 in Toronto.
