Former UFC middleweight Jason 'Mayhem' Miller was arrested on Monday evening after being found naked inside a church in California.

Orange County police confirmed the arrest to ESPN.com. The church had been broken into and vandalised.

"When officers arrived they saw books and CDs thrown all over the place and broken picture frames on the floors," Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said. "Retardant from a fire extinguisher was sprayed along the church walls.

"Several of the church's windows were broken."

Miller's bail has been set at $20,000. He was dumped by the UFC after a defeat to CB Dollaway in May, his second in a row following an earlier loss to Michael Bisping.
