Jay Hieron has been named by the UFC as replacement for Josh Koscheck to fight Jake Ellenberger at UFC 151.

Koscheck was ruled out of the co-main event on Wednesday due to a bulging disc in his back. Now Hieron has been confirmed as Ellenberger's fresh rival.

It marks a UFC return for Hieron, who went 0-2 in his first spell with the promotion. Back then, he was beaten by Georges St-Pierre and Jonathan Goulet, the latter of which was due to a cut.

However, that was seven years ago, and since then he has gone on a run of 11 wins in 12 fights. The only man to beat him during that time was Ben Askren.
