Michael Bisping's preparations for UFC 152 have been hit by a cut above his left eye, but he will still face Brian Stann at UFC 152.

Injury news has rocked the UFC over the past seven days, with Josh Koscheck ruled out of his UFC 151 co-main event with Jake Ellenberger, and Rory MacDonald sidelined from his UFC 152 bout with BJ Penn.

Like Bisping, the MacDonald injury was caused by a cut, although that required 38 stitches. Bisping's problem is far smaller, and will not wreck his own fight camp.

"Slash!! Head butt from yesterday's training, 6 stitches, no big deal, still 8 weeks out," Bisping wrote on his Twitter account.

Bisping is set to fight Stann on September 22 in Toronto. The winner will launch calls for a middleweight title shot at Anderson Silva.
