Travis Browne's initial loss has turned into an almighty gain after he was removed from UFC on Fox 4 in order to headline UFC on FX 5.

Browne had been scheduled to fight Ben Rothwell at next week's UFC on Fox 4 card, which is headlined by Mauricio Shogun Rua v Brandon Vera. However, an ankle injury saw Rothwell pull out of the bout.

As a result, Browne will now face Antonio Bigfoot Silva as the headline fight at UFC on FX 5 on October 5. A win for Browne would propel him into serious contention in the heavyweight division.

Unusually, the bout pitches a fighter coming off a win against a man needing to bounce back after a loss. Browne submitted Chad Griggs in his last outing, while Silva was humbled by Cain Velasquez.
