The UFC on Fox 4 card, scheduled for August 4, will be lacking a Brit after Rob Broughton pulled out of the California event.
With 10 days remaining before fight night, Broughton's withdrawal has been confirmed by the UFC. No specific reason was given other than that the Brit needs to deal with a few personal matters.
It is yet to be clarified as to whether Mitrione will be handed a replacement opponent at late notice. However, the bout with Broughton was never officially included on the UFC on Fox 4 fight card so it is unlikely the American will feature.
UFC on Fox 4 is headlined by Mauricio Shogun Rua's battle with Brandon Vera. A light-heavyweight bout between Lyoto Machida and Ryan Bader also features.
