Former world Muay Thai champion Jorgen Kruth will make his UFC debut against Fabio Maldonado at UFC: Nottingham on September 29.

Brazil's Maldonado has made three UFC appearances, winning his debut against James McSweeney in 2010 before losing the next two against Kyle Kingsbury and Igor Pokrajac.

Big-hitting Maldonado has also competed professionally as a boxer, although not since June 2010. He has won all of his 22 boxing fights, 21 by knockout.

Sweden's Kruth, 38, was expected to make his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel TV 2 in April, but was forced out of the bout by an injury.

He made an MMA debut in April 2009.
