Total of 2,485lbs marks heaviest UFC weigh-in in history

The UFC 146 weigh-ins claimed a place in the promotion's history books on Friday as they produced the heaviest set of main card results ever witnessed.

The ten main-card fighters - all heavyweights - produced a tally of 2,485lbs, with Antonio Silva the heaviest at 264 while Dave Herman was lightest at 233.

In the main event, Frank Mir came in 22lbs heavier than champion Junior Dos Santos, while the difference between Silva and Cain Velasquez in the co-main was even greater.

England's Dan Hardy had no problems hitting the welterweight limit for his fight with Duane Ludwig, and likewise Paul Sass is ready to go against Jacob Volkmann.
