The final obstacle is out of the way, and in 24 hours Jon Jones and Rashad Evans will finally settle their differences at UFC 145 following Friday's weigh-ins.

There was plenty of ill-feeling during the square-off as the light-heavyweight pair went nose-to-nose, Jones applying pressure with Evans pushing back with his head.

Jones looked particularly amped for the battle, and the pair had to be separated as Joe Rogan went to interview both men. The champion declared this weekend's battle a "gigantic" fight, and Jones will enter a pound heavier.

Elsewhere, John Makdessi came in two pounds over the legal limit for his lightweight fight with Anthony Njokuani. Makdessi weighed 158lbs, meaning he forfeits 20 per cent of his purse.
