UFC veteran Dan Henderson insists the middleweight title is not high on his list of priorities, regardless of what president Dana White tells the media.

Henderson has done it all in MMA, winning PRIDE and Strikeforce titles whilst beating the majority of the best fighters of his generation. The only thing missing from his record is a UFC championship.

Hendo is currently waiting to face the winner of Jon Jones and Rashad Evans, who contest the light-heavyweight belt at UFC 145. As a result, he faces a lengthy period on the sidelines whilst he waits for the winner of that bout to become available.

White has previously stated that Henderson is only keen on UFC gold, whether it be at light-heavyweight or middleweight. He recently stated: "He'll fight whoever has that belt. Dan doesn't seem too picky, I think he would fight Chael Sonnen [if he won the belt from Silva]."

However, Henderson insists he would not fight long-term friend and training colleague Sonnen, with Anderson Silva the only man capable of tempting him back to 185lbs. And, when pressed on the issue, he admits even Silva is not high on his agenda.

"Chael lives up in Oregon but I know him real well. He was with me and Randy [Couture] when we first started our team," Henderson told ESPN.

"I don't have any real desire to fight at middleweight. The only guy I'd cut weight for is Anderson Silva, win or lose that could still happen.

"But it's not high up on my list at all. Silva's the only guy I'd cut weight for. I've got the light-heavyweight thing in my mind and that's it. I'd fight Anderson Silva but I'm only interested in the UFC light-heavyweight title right now."

Henderson is one of many UFC stars to be attending The MMA Show Live on May 12/13 at the NEC in Birmingham, a ground-breaking event featuring more top level MMA fighters than any other show of its kind in Europe. The interactive expo has sold over 14,000 tickets already, with 30,000 fans expected across the whole weekend
