Jon Jones stopping Brazilian whitewash - Silva

Anderson Silva does not see a scenario developing where Brazil holds all seven UFC titles, admitting none of his countrymen are ready to defeat Jon Jones.

Brazilian fighters are currently making all the headlines in the UFC, while president Dana White recently labelled the country the "new Mecca of martial arts".

Junior Dos Santos, Anderson Silva and Jose Aldo hold three of the seven belts on offer, and that number could grow in the near future. Erick Silva is making waves in the welterweight division, Edson Barboza likewise at lightweight, while Renan Barao is tipped for a future title shot at bantamweight.

Silva cannot see a similar challenge being posed to Jones though, admitting his countrymen need to combine their natural flair with a more studious approach to fighting.

"Jon Jones is having a good phase, he's improving a lot. He's getting more and more experienced, he's very young, but he's getting more experienced," Silva told Portal TV.

"He's making his opponents fall into his game. He knows how to use his size very well. There's not much to say about Jon Jones.

"I don't see any Brazilian in conditions to face him, even more so because Brazilians don't tend to completely study what happens in there, there needs to be more studying done by the Brazilians in that division so that they can understand what really is going on in there.

"But it's hard for me to say this, because I'm Brazilian and I wish there was a Brazilian with the conditions to beat Jon Jones, but, this is a personal opinion of mine, I don't see anyone in Brazil that can beat him, at least not for now."
