Caroline Wozniacki ensured her tennis would do all the talking as the Dane claimed the Luxembourg Open, defeating Annika Beck in straight sets in the final.
After beginning the week by denying reports of a split with golfer Rory McIlroy, Wozniacki ended the week with the trophy in her hand following a comfortable 6-2 6-2 win.
Wozniacki had to negotiate her way past this year's Wimbledon runner-up Sabine Lisicki in the semi-finals and win in a final set against Bojana Jovanovski in the last eight, but she had a relatively easy time on court to get the better of Beck.
Meanwhile at the Kremlin Cup, Sam Stosur was stunned by Simona Halep 7-6(1) 6-2.
It is the fifth WTA title of the year for Halep, and only Serena Williams has won more trophies in 2013 than the Romanian.
After winning in Osaka last weekend, Stosur was the favourite to win the title, but Halep continues to impress in her breakthrough year to beat the former US Open champion.
"I've been playing more aggressively this year, hitting the ball very strong, and I'm more relaxed on the court and have been focusing much better on every point," Halep said.
"I still have a few things I want to improve, but I will work on them in the off-season. I'm very happy with how I'm playing now. It's been an incredible year for me. I've won five titles now. I feel incredible."
