Viktor Troicki has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over his 18-month suspension for violating doping regulations.

A CAS statement read: "The CAS procedure is in progress and a decision will be issued in around four months."

The International Tennis Federation suspended Troicki, 27, in July for his failure to provide a blood sample at April's Monte Carlo Masters.

Troicki denies any wrongdoing, claiming the doping officer allowed him to skip the blood test because he was feeling unwell. He had already given a urine sample.
