Andy Murray will open up his Monte Carlo Masters challenge in the second round against either Viktor Troicki or Jean-Rene Lisnard.

The British No. 1 has been handed a bye in the first round so his first competitive action of the year on clay will come against either world No. 27 Troicki or Lisnard who is ranked 397 in the world.

Murray will not have to come up against King of Clay Rafael Nadal until the final, should they both get that far, as he is in the other side of the draw to the Spaniard.

But it will be no easy route to the final as world No. 1 Novak Djokovic is his slated semi-final opponent, while Murray could face Tomas Berdych in the last-eight.
