Alun Wyn Jones will miss Friday's Six Nations clash between Wales and France in Cardiff.
Jones has picked up a foot infection meaning Jake Ball will make his first start for Wales in the locks. Andrew Coombs is included on the bench.
It's a damaging blow for Warren Gatland ahead of such a crucial Six Nations fixture. Wales are hoping to bounce back from their 26-3 loss to Ireland a fortnight ago while Les Bleus remain unbeaten.
