Mike Phillips lays down challenge to One Direction

After Niall from One Direction slammed Mike Phillips on Twitter, the Welsh scrum-half has laid down a challenge to the boyband 'inviting' them to Welsh training. Wales found themselves on the wrong end of a 26-3 hamerring at the hands of Ireland and Phillips was at the centre of a late scuffle involving both teams.

It remains to be seen if the blonde floppy-haired popstar accepts the challenge...

But then Niall got some support from one of Ireland's victorious players.

However, later on Sunday, it looked like Phillips was prepared to let the Irish enjoy their bragging rights.

Though it didn't prevent one more dig...
