USA win for the first time in a year

The USA secured their first win in almost a year when a late penalty from fly-half Adam Siddall earned them a 25-23 victory over Georgia in Tbilisi.
There was little between the sides throughout and Georgia seemed to have snatched the game when Merab Kvirikashvili's penalty kick put them 23-22 ahead.
But within a minute the USA had a penalty of their own and New Zealand-born Siddall slotted the kick from more than 40 yards out.
Prior to the game in Rustavi, the USA had not won in 2013, losing matches to Canada, Tonga, Fiji and Japan, a June tour Test to Ireland, two World Cup qualifiers to Canada and Maori All Blacks.
On Saturday Romania beat Canada, who will meet Russia at Allianz Park next weekend, 21-20; Russia played against Japan in Colwyn Bay on Friday evening, losing 40-13.
