France captain Guilhem Guirado will miss France's final Six Nations match against Wales after suffering a knee injury against England.

The Toulon hooker went off 66 minutes into France's 22-16 victory over England in Paris on the weekend after a blow to his right knee, and the French Rugby Federation [FFR] have announced that he will not play any part in Cardiff.

In Guirado's absence, Jacques Brunel will need to name another captain, with Mathieu Bastareaud the favourite to get the nod.

Uncapped La Rochelle hooker Pierre Bourgarit has been called up, while Arthur Iturria comes into the squad in place of injured lock Romain Taofifenua.
