James Johnston has left Wasps without making an appearance, the Aviva Premiership club has confirmed.
The Samoa international prop joined Wasps from Saracens at the end of last season but was injured during his country's preparations for the Rugby World Cup.
Subsequent niggles meant he was unable to make it onto the pitch in Coventry, but the 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Worcester by The Rugby Paper.
Wasps' director of rugby Dai Young said: "It is unfortunate that James has not been able to train regularly since joining the club, as we were really looking forward to seeing the impact he could make in a Wasps' shirt.
"Unfortunately for both parties, this couldn't happen and he leaves with our very best wishes for his next steps."
