France coach Guy Noves has turned to hooker Guilhem Guirado as their new captain ahead of the Six Nations.
Guirado, 29, plays for Toulon and has 38 Test caps to his name. He played in four of their five games at the World Cup and is regarded as one of the finest hookers in the northern hemisphere.

He steps into the void left by Thierry Dusautoir who announced his retirement from Test rugby in the aftermath of the World Cup and Noves told Guirado of his decision last weekend.
"I discussed it with him on Sunday. I made it official at the end of the afternoon," Novès told L'Equipe. "He is the right person at the right time."
