Match Commentary

10'The Wallabies get on the board! Kieran Read gets on the wrong side of the ref at the breakdown and the Wallabies take the points early. Luke Hodge takes to the tea and slots the kick.
5'Israel Folau was taken above the horizontal and dumped on his shoulder, was it a just a penalty or a yellow? Jaco Peyper called it a penalty but several Wallabies weren't too happy with the call. A few Wallabies errors have brought us to the first scrum of the game.
4'All Blacks can't make the most of the turnover though with David Pocock reading the play beautifully to steal the ball at the back of the ruck and giving the Wallabies the perfect opportunity with the ball.
2'Penalty against the Wallabies, Brodie Retallick staying strong and gets the turnover at the break down. All Blacks take the line out just inside the Wallabies half and immediately take it midfield.
1'Wallabies kick off and it goes deep into the All Blacks 22m, with Barrett going straight into touch. Wallabies get their first line out and win it.
1'Anthems done. Haka done. Let's get this going!!
1'Your All Blacks line up:
1'The teams are lined up and ready for the anthems. Here's the Wallabies line up:
1'This what they're playing for. The Wallabies haven't lifted the trophy for 15 years, can they break the drought? Or will the All Blacks make it 16 straight?
1'The countdown continues! Just 30mins till kick off, who's going to come out on top?
1'The Black Ferns have claimed the opening double-header clash downing the Wallaroos. Only two years ago the Wallaroos were hammered 67-3, tonight they kept it much closer 31-11 in front of a record women's rugby crowd of 28,846!
1'The Wallabies have also arrived to ANZ Stadium. There's sure to be plenty of nerves as they face the All Blacks for the first time in 2018, but they'll be determined to make it two wins on the trot against their old rivals after they finished the Bledisloe Cup in 2017 with a final match win.
1'The All Blacks have arrived just a few hours before kick off in what should be a great clash at ANZ Stadium.
1'The Wallabies already suffered a huge blow hours before kick off with prop Taniela Tupou ruled out of the match. Australia have called up Jermaine Ainsley as his replacement.
1'Hello and welcome to ESPN's live blog of the opening Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney. We're just under two hours away from kick off with the Wallabies looking to win their first opening Bledisloe game in two years, while the All Blacks will be full of confidence heading into the match after going unbeaten in their three-match series against France in June.
