Leinster have confirmed that wing Dave Kearney will be out of action for at least four months with knee ligament damage.
Kearney, whose injury kept him out of Ireland's 30-man squad for the summer tour to Argentina, was injured playing in Saturday's RaboDirect PRO12 semi-final victory over provincial rivals Ulster.
In a statement, Leinster said Kearney is due to undergo surgery in "the next week or so", with the injury keeping him out of the PRO12 final against Glasgow Warriors on May 31.
