Scarlets full-back Liam Williams has been cited for a dangerous tackle during Sunday's 'Judgement Day' clash with Cardiff Blues at the Millenium Stadium.
Williams was sent to the sin bin after just six minutes for a mid-air tackle on Wales team-mate Alex Cuthbert, but the independent citing commissioner deemed the challenge worthy of a red card and cited the player.
Williams was later sent off after receiving a second yellow card as Scarlets went down 17-13. Blues No.8 Robin Copeland was also shown a red card in the bad-tempered derby after a nasty stamping incident.
In a statement, the RaboDirect PRO12 said the dates for disciplinary hearings for both players had yet to be confirmed.
