Bath have confirmed Gavin Henson has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
Henson was rumoured to be in the Dragons' sights but after a man-of-the-match performance against Brive at the weekend, Bath have now confirmed he has extended his stay.
"I'm very happy to be staying," Henson said. "This is a top club and I feel excited about what this group of players can achieve. It is great to be part of it and I feel proud at the thought of playing more rugby for Bath."
Bath praised Henson's ability to cover fly-half, inside and outside centre and fullback and coach Mike Ford is delighted to have him at the club for another season.
"Gavin is a real professional," Ford said. "Everything he does is about being as well prepared as possible for every session and match. He is experienced, talented and versatile in equal measure, so we are very pleased to have him with us for another year."
