Bath Rugby have denied speculation linking Gavin Henson with a move to the Dragons.
Reports at the weekend said Henson had agreed to link up with his former coach Lyn Jones at Newport, joining the likes of Lee Byrne and Aled Brew in signing for the region ahead of next season.
But Bath claim they are still in discussions with Henson over a new contract, with his deal up at the end of the season, and are adamant he is yet to agree to a move back to Wales.
"We are still talking to Gavin. He's in no hurry. He's not signed for Newport, that's just speculation," Ford told the Bath Chronicle. "We spoke to him on Monday and Tuesday last week and he wants to stay at Bath.
"He wants to give us the longest possible time to decide on him, and if that's right up to the summer then that's fine."
