Former Dolphins defensive coordinator Matt Burke is expected to join the Eagles' staff as a top aide to DC Jim Schwartz. In Miami, Burke oversaw a defense in 2018 that had released one of its best players, Ndamukong Suh, in the offseason. Prior to being promoted to coordinator in 2017, Burke had accrued eight seasons as a linebackers coach. A move to Philadelphia would reunite Burke with Schwartz, whom he coached under in Detroit (2009-2013).
