Former Patriots broadcaster Santos dies at 80

Gil Santos, who spent 36 seasons as the radio voice of the New England Patriots died Thursday, his 80th birthday. Santos retired after the 2012 season and was inducted into the team's Hall of Fame in 2013.

LB Mike Vrabel (2001-2008), DL Richard Seymour (2001-2008) and OT Matt Light (2001-2011) were announced as Patriots Hall of Fame finalists on Wednesday. A fan vote on the Patriots' official website will determine one winner. Vrabel is a three-time finalist, while Seymour is a two-time finalist and this is Light's first time as a finalist.
