The Right Time: Bo & Mina talk Conference Championships

Bomani is joined by Mina Kimes to discuss the Conference Championships coming this weekend in the NFL Playoffs, including the comical "underdog" story of the Patriots (6:25). Bo makes his final plea for the Rams to spare us a Super Bowl in Atlanta with the Saints representing the NFC (26:29) and they close with a nuanced conversation about problematic names that you just don't hear anymore (52:03).

'How to stop the Chiefs?' Barnwell & Yates preview the AFC Championship

Bill and Field Yates of ESPN preview the AFC Championship matchup in the NFL Postseason of Patriots-Chiefs. Will the temperature be an issue for the quality of play? Will the Patriots target one player from the Chiefs to stop offensively? Will the Arrowhead Stadium crowd affect the Pats' offense? Does a loss for either team spell negativity in their future? Those questions and so much more answered.

"You're going against good football coaches there. They'll have a plan for you and how do you handle that? That's the next challenge and that's what he's focusing on. There's nobody better than Bill (Belichick) at that. We've got to make sure we have things he can work with." — Chiefs coach Andy Reid on what he's telling Patrick Mahomes this week.

Chiefs activate Duvernay-Tardiff to bolster OL

Chiefs guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who started the first five games before breaking his leg and tearing ligaments in his ankle, will be activated for Sunday's game vs. the Pats.

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

The Chiefs activated guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif off the injured reserve list and waived safety Ron Parker. Duvernay-Tardif could take his place as the starter at right guard for Sunday's AFC championship game that he lost when he broke his leg and tore ankle ligaments in an October game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The release of Parker could be a sign that Eric Berry will be available to play against the Patriots. Otherwise, the Chiefs have just three safeties in Daniel Sorensen, Eric Murray and Jordan Lucas.b
