Jags' Marrone: 'A lot of bad football' needs fixing

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone knows there is no "magic pill" that will fix the team's problems over the last two games other than getting back to basics and working hard.

The Jaguars have signed TE Blake Bell and placed TE Niles Paul (knee) on IR. Bell has 22 catches for 290 yards in three seasons with San Francisco and Minnesota. The Vikings had cut him this September. Bell joins David Grinnage (one career game) and James O'Shaughnessy as tight ends on the Jaguars roster now that Paul and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle) are on IR.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said he's hopeful that RB Leonard Fournette may be able to make his return from a right hamstring injury against Houston on Sunday but the team will know more later in the week. Marrone said Fournette, CB D.J. Hayden (toe), and CB Tre Herndon (hamstring) ran on Monday and that "obviously it went well and we're going to see where we're at on Wednesday.” Fournette has missed four games with the injury.
