On Thursday night, quarterback Deshaun Watson saw game action for the first time since he tore his ACL in early November. He only played for one series and completed one pass for four yards, but achieved the most important goal for the Texans: exiting the game without an injury.

Both of the Texans' first half touchdowns belong to third-round pick Jordan Akins. The tight end has impressed during camp and was described by head coach Bill O'Brien as mature, smart and a really hard worker. The Texans have a group of young tight ends competing for playing time during training camp, including sixth-round pick Jordan Thomas and third-year player Stephen Anderson. Ryan Griffin is expected to be the starting tight end.
