The Chicago Bears lean on their version of 'Thunder and Lightning' in Sunday's 23-17 overtime win vs. the Steelers.

Bears get the overtime win on a Jordan Howard TD run. Zone scheme with a cutback. That's been there all day vs. the Steelers. Howard finishes with 138 yards rushing and two TDs on 23 carries (6.0 yards per carry).

Bears RB Jordan Howard helped off the field again by trainers. Looks like he's still having trouble with his right shoulder.

End-of-half follies result in extra play for Bears

A blocked field goal, return, fumble and an illegal swipe as the first-half clock hit zeroes in Chicago resulted in the Steelers having to return from the locker room and the Bears getting an extra play.

Brian Burke ESPN Analytics

Marcus Cooper's fumble on the goal line ended up costing the Bears 4 points, but doubled the Steelers' chance of coming back to win from 10% to 20%.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Steelers WR Antonio Brown has already seen 10 targets today and finished the first half with 77 yards on seven receptions and score. Brown's TD came on a quick "smoke" route vs. off-man coverage in the deep red zone.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

High-volume first half for Jordan Howard. The Bears RB is already up to 14 touches for 88 total yards and a TD. Howard is finding a lot of running room on zone schemes.

Mike Sando ESPN Senior Writer

Marcus Cooper was a day shy of his third birthday when Don Beebe stripped the ball from Leon Lett. If he didn't know about that play before today, he's going to hear about it lots after costing his team a touchdown by coasting toward the end zone.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

The Bears have to be thrilled to be up 10 points at halftime. Despite passing for only 33 yards, the Bears offensive line still has been able to open up huge holes in the run game, with Jordan Howard rushing for a game-high 74 yards on 12 carries. Pittsburgh has also turned the ball over two times.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Bears running back Jordan Howard has 74 yards rushing in the first half. Howard entered the game with 59 total rushing yards through 2 games, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Bears rookie second round pick Adam Shaheen played sparingly in Chicago's first two games, but the first-year tight end just caught his 1st career pass (a touchdown) to put the Bears back in front. At 6-foot-6, Shaheen should develop into a decent redzone threat the longer he stays in the league.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

The Steelers are doing everything possible to lose this game. Bears quarterback Mike Glennon has attempted just five passes (3-for-5 for 14 yards) but yet Chicago still lead 7-0 thanks to all of Pittsburgh's blunders.

Bears say center Hroniss Grasu is questionable to return with a hand injury.
