Jazz fans started the night booing Gordon Hayward but ended it in awe of Joe Ingles' career-high performance and Jae Crowder's ability to seal the win.

Gordon Hayward had one of his best showings of the season so far in his return to Utah, finishing with 13 points and seven assists in Utah's 123-115 win. When the final buzzer sounded, Hayward exchanged greetings with Ricky Rubio and Joe Ingles, and then left the court less than 30 seconds after the buzzer sounded.

Hayward: Utah return mix of excitement, 'dread'

Celtics forward Gordon Hayward finished with 13 points Friday night as he played in Utah for the first time since leaving as a free agent. Hayward was booed loudly by Jazz fans who previously cheered his every move.

Whether it was intentional or not, the Jazz made a statement to start this game: their first three possessions involved Rudy Gobert setting screens for Joe Ingles — who was being guarded by Gordon Hayward. Jazz attacked him repeatedly.
