The British Olympic Association have told their athletes to wear understated kit while travelling to the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

UK officials warned that terrorist attacks could occur before or during the Games in Russia next month.

Although there have been no reports of an increase to the threat levels in the country, or any attacks on the team, the BOA say it is advice which has been handed to other nations competing at the Winter Olympics.

The advice handed to Team GB to wear "less overtly branded team kit is part of a "common sense approach".
