The Cardinals are doing everything they can to lose this game. After Eric Thames triples with one out off Bud Norris and Mike Moustakas is intentionally walked, Norris throws wild on a pickoff attempt at first base and Thames trots in with the go-ahead run.

Wow, huge turn of events in St. Louis. Marcell Ozuna lines a two-run homer off Josh Hader to give the Cards a 4-3 lead. St. Louis had been 3-for-28 off Hader in 2018 entering the inning and went home run, walk, home run without Hader getting an out yet.

Not a good top of the sixth for Cardinals pitchers as they walk three batters and hit another and the Brewers score two runs without a hit to take a 3-1 lead. Jose Martinez, however, homers to center off Josh Hader and now it's 3-2.

San Antonio has long been a Double-A team but is moving up a level. The surprise is that industry chatter had San Antonio matching up with the Texas Rangers.
