Can confirm that the Dodgers have picked up Dave Roberts' 2019 option, as president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman told reporters from the GM Meetings. Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman has lost his right-hand man, Farhan Zaidi, who has accepted an offer to lead the Giants' front office, as first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle. Zaidi gets a promotion and returns to the Bay Area, where he attended Cal and worked for the A's. Tough loss for Friedman, especially to his biggest rival.
