Ranking the all-time NCAA tournament Cinderellas

Many NCAA tournament teams have been fitted for glass slippers and Loyola-Chicago's run is among the most memorable, but where does the Ramblers' Final Four trip stack up with other great Cinderellas?

FINAL: Louisville 72, George Mason 61. On a team filled with upperclassmen and experience, it was two freshmen that provided the spark for Louisville. Jordan Nwora hit three 3s in a six-minute span, while Darius Perry finished 17 points off the bench.

Mahmoud keeps it alive and Nwora sinks 3 (0:45)

Jordan Nwora will always be an answer to shooting woes. That's what the freshman does. High-level perimeter shooter from New York. Just gave Louisville the lead.

Twelve minutes left, and George Mason remains on top of Louisville. David Padgett continues to look for an answer offensively -- bigger issue might be Louisville's inability to stay in front of Mason's ball-handlers without fouling.

Been very impressed by George Mason's Justin Kier. Smooth in the mid-range, active defensively. Consistently gets his shots.

George Mason up three at the half on Louisville. Cardinals really struggling to score in the half-court. Only 1-of-10 from 3-point range, leading to a lot of shot-fakes -- and then travels or contested runners and pull-ups. Mason getting open looks, holding its own on the glass.

Darius Perry had a couple mistakes after first getting into the game, but he's provided a spark for Louisville. Picked up a steal and assist, then followed it up with a 3. Freshman from Georgia.

Louisville struggling to get much going offensively so far, perimeter shots not falling early. Deng Axel aggressive at that end, Ray Spalding active on the defensive side of the floor. George Mason getting open driving lanes off the bounce consistently though.

Here at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville for the official start of the David Padgett/post-Rick Pitino era. Cardinals take on George Mason in about 30 minutes.

Atlantic 10 preview: There's room for change at the top

Dayton and VCU have new coaches and plenty of new players, so which teams could take over the A-10? Dan Hurley and Rhode Island have high hopes after nearly reaching the Sweet 16 last season.

Joe Lunardi Senior Writer, ESPN.com

Back in the Stone Age (like 1999), we created Adjusted Scoring Margin as a supplement to RPI. It correctly pegged a number of unexpected NCAA runs over the years -- Florida (2000), Kent State (2002), George Mason (2006) and Butler (2010) -- so just for kicks I looked to see which teams in this year's bracket are significant under- or over-valued (by pre-tourney ASM rank). UNDERVALUED: Wichita State (2), West Virginia (4), Saint Mary's (8), SMU (9), Cincinnati (12), Middle Tennessee (28), Rhode Island (31), Nevada (37). OVERVALUED: Kansas (17), Arizona (19), Minnesota (36), Northwestern (49), Michigan State (57), Maryland (58), Xavier (61), Seton Hall (69). Just remember, don't shoot the messenger!
