The British Horse Racing Authority have given their approval to the idea of racing taking place on Good Friday.

As one of a few non-racing days of the year, Good Friday may witness action, although the Professional Jockeys' Association revealed the majority of their member want Good Friday to remain as it is.

The 2014 fixture list is set to be announced next week, and the PJA have also demanded a break the day after the Grand National.
