Woods to remain in golfing wilderness

A little under a fortnight after claiming he did not know when he would return to golf, Tiger Woods is on the practice ground amid talk that he is planning to end his spell away from the course.
Woods' first public appearance since the details of his infidelity broke saw him claim he was heading back to a clinic and that there was no date in sight for his return. The world No. 1 jetted off with his wife for a week of family therapy to complete his treatment but has since returned to his Florida home.
His return to Florida saw him head out to the practice ground and fellow tour player Charles Howell III has claimed Woods looked to be somewhere near his best.
"I spent an hour with him yesterday," Howell said ahead of the Honda Classic. "He looked as good as he ever has. Seriously, he seemed like he was hitting it the same as he ever did."
Howell claimed to be unaware of when Woods will return, but the suggestion is that he could make an appearance at the Tavistock Cup - an exhibition event played between the Lake Nona and Isleworth clubs on March 22.
