- AT&T National, Round Three
Haas heads Congressional logjam
A busy day at Congressional Country Club failed to offer any clarity at the top of the leaderboard, with four players tied for the lead heading into the final round at the AT&T National.
With inclement weather on Friday ensuring many players returned on Saturday to complete their second rounds, at the end of a long day James Driscoll, Bill Haas, Robert Castro and Andres Romero were left all tied for the lead at seven-under par.
Indeed, many players will go into the final round with hopes of victory - 19 players are within five shots of the lead, with Charlie Wi's third round 65 (six-under, to put him five-under overall) demonstrating a low score is on offer in Washington DC.
Others firmly in contention include Jason Kokrak - one off the pace - Tom Gillis, Brandt Snedeker and Brendan Todd, with overnight leader Jordan Spieth three back after a third round 74.
Nicolas Colsaerts is the best placed of the European challengers, the former Ryder Cup player three-under overall after a 69 on Saturday.
