Britons Oliver Fisher, Richard McEvoy, Gareth Maybin and Scott Jamieson were among the nine players to come through the International Final Qualifying for the Open Championship at Sunningdale on Monday.

The 36-hole IFQ, held over the Surrey club's Old and New courses, was won by American Brooks Koepka - a three-time winner on the Challenge Tour already this year - at five-under par after carding rounds of 69 and 65.

Englishman Fisher finished a shot back with rounds of 70 and 65, while compatriot McEvoy and Northern Ireland's Maybin on three-under, where they were joined by Spain's Alvaro Quiros and Frenchman Gregory Bourdy.

Among those to miss out were England's Tom Lewis, France's Thomas Levet and Ryder Cup captains past and present Jose Maria Olazabal and Paul McGinley.

A first round of 66 on the Old Course saw Lewis, a former winner of the silver medal as leading amateur at the Open, gain the clubhouse lead on four under par, but a second round of 75 saw him finish two over par.
