Keegan Bradley continued his run of good form at the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Texas as he moved to 11-under par overall following a round of 69.

Bradley started slow with two bogeys either side of a birdie in his opening six holes at TPC Four Seasons, but showed impressive composure to get his round back on track with three further birdies to set the standard.

However, a bogey at the last spoiled an otherwise solid round for the American, who won the tournament in 2011.

American Tom Gillis hit five birdies in his opening nine holes to move into early contention, finishing his second round with a seven-under 63 to move to eight-under par overall, along with Sang-Moon Bae who carded a second four-under round of 66 in two days. The pair are three shots adrift of Bradley.

John Huh carded a 64 to move to seven-under; it could have been more for the American, however, but two late bogeys on the return to the clubhouse marred an otherwise impressive round.

2011 Masters winner Charl Schwartzel finished an even-par round to remain seven-under, and Argentinian Angel Cabrera shot 69 to improve his overall score to six-under par.

However, amateur Guan Tianlang could not build on his even-par first round as he struggled to cope around Irving. Two double bogeys sandwiched a run of five successive bogeys before the turn as the 14-year-old finished with a seven-over round of 77 to miss the cut by some way.
