Leaderboard

A blistering round of 63 saw Spencer Levin leap to the top of the halfway leaderboard at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Levin made the most of an early tee-off time to establish a mark at 14-under, after a blemish-free round that included six birdies and an eagle.

"Everything was pretty good today," Levin said afterwards. "My putting and chipping feels real solid.

"Sometimes when you finish a round … I felt pretty good going into my second round and it didn't feel like a second round."

For the second consecutive day, though, the event was suspended before the full compliment of players could complete their round.

Harrison Frazer moved into second place at 11-under with three holes left to play on day two. Starting at the 10th hole, Frazer sunk birdie putts at 15, 16 and 17 to lead the chase for Levin.

John Huh continued the good form he showed last week with a round of 66 to sit alongside Webb Simpson at eight-under. While Kyle Stanley moved into contention with a second-round 66 as he sits a further stroke adrift.

A number of other players reached six-under for 36 holes, and will be looking to push strongly over the weekend. Ryan Palmer (72), Ben Crane (67), Jason Dufner (72) and Bo Van Pelt (71) all are well placed - as is Bubba Watson, who enjoyed a solid round of 70 at TPC Scottsdale to remain in the hunt.

Englishman Ian Poulter is making less of an impression on the leaderboard, but should make the cut after his second round of 69 moved him to one-under for the tournament. Compatriot Brian Davis will have the weekend off, however, after he ended his second round five-over for the tournament.
