World Cup star Paul the Octopus dies

Paul the Octopus, who shot to fame during the summer's World Cup in South Africa, has died.
He correctly predicted all of Germany's results during the tournament, as well as successfully forecasting Spain's victory in the final by choosing between two glass boxes containing food.
After becoming the subject of intense media coverage Paul retired from clairvoyance, but was the subject of a transfer bid from Madrid zoo to commemorate Spain's maiden world title.
Oberhausen Sea Life Aquarium said they were 'devastated' to discover the octopus' body on Tuesday morning and would erect a monument to commemorate the centre's most famous resident.
"Paul delighted people from all continents with his seven consecutive correct predictions for the matches of the German national team and for the final," said the aquarium's general manager, Stefan Porwoll.
"He was dear to all our hearts and we will sorely miss him. He died peacefully in the night of a natural death. It is a comforting thought that he had a good life with us with the best possible care delivered by a committed team."
