Eden Hazard is still a doubt for Chelsea's Champions League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid and will definitely miss Saturday's home match against Sunderland.

The 23-year-old was named on the six-man PFA Player of the Year shortlist earlier on Friday.

While he could still line up against Atletico at the Vicente Calderon on April 22, Hazard's calf injury will certainly keep him out this weekend, Chelsea assistant manager Steve Holland has confirmed.

"Eden Hazard won't be fit for tomorrow, but everyone else trained today, so we're not in bad shape," said Holland.

"I wouldn't say he's definitely out [of the Atletico game] at this stage, but the fact that he hasn't yet trained with the group would suggest he still remains a doubt."

Hazard came off with the injury in the first half of the 2-0 Champions League quarter-final second leg win over Paris Saint-Germain.
