Mourinho: No forward planning from City

Jose Mourinho has criticised the FA for not punishing Manchester City's Yaya Toure after he allegedly kicked out at Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

Television pictures showed Toure appearing to strike Van Wolfswinkel in the back during the goalless draw at Carrow Road on Saturday, and Mourinho has hit out at the FA for failing to give the City player a ban for the incident.

"That means you can do whatever you want now," Mourinho said on Toure escaping punishment.

"If Toure is not suspended, the message is clear - players can do what they want if the referee doesn't see the incident. If the FA defends football, he has to be suspended."

Toure would have received an automatic three-game suspension if he was found guilty of violent conduct, but now he is set to be available for City's FA Cup fifth round tie against Chelsea at the Etihad.
