Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is poised to make a double swoop upon former club Manchester United, with Wilfried Zaha and Fabio da Silva reportedly on their way to Wales.

Zaha has long been linked with a loan move away from Old Trafford, with Cardiff always the most likely destination, after his relationship with David Moyes became increasingly strained in recent weeks. He is yet to start a Premier League match for United since joining them from Crystal Palace in the summer.

Now, the Daily Mail reports that he is undergoing a medical and should complete his move before the end of the day, with Cardiff paying all of his wages and £1.5 million for his services for the remainder of the season. Zaha will, however, be ineligible for Tuesday's Premier League encounter between the two clubs due to Premier League rules preventing a loaned player facing his parent club.

Fabio, meanwhile, is also having a medical ahead of what could be a permanent switch to Cardiff. A loan had been mooted earlier this month, but with his contract up in the summer, it is now believed that United could look to get a fee now rather than lose him for nothing later this year.
