Aguero handed City start, Carroll up front for Hammers

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has made eight changes for his side's League Cup semi-final second leg at West Ham.

City go to Upton Park with a 6-0 lead following the first leg, but Pellegrini has handed Sergio Aguero a place in his starting XI following his return from injury. The striker scored on his comeback appearance against Cardiff after a month-long lay-off.

Jesus Navas also starts, along with Alvaro Negredo while Jack Rodwell is also named on the bench.

Sam Allardyce has called upon Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll as he makes seven changes from the team which lost to Newcastle. Carlton Cole is on the bench.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen, Nolan, Tomkins, Rat, Carroll, Taylor, Morrison, Diarra, Diame, J.Cole, Johnson

Subs: Jarvis, Collison, Adrian, Noble, Downing, C.Cole, Chambers
